50 Portfolio
An exclusive stock pitch competition of which the winner will see the ESFS invest in their portfolio, creating a Student-lead Fund. The event will be led by a sponsoring Investment Management firm (in previous years it has been Deloitte). The aim of the event is for participants to apply their critical thinking, market knowledge and presentation skills to pitch the panel of experts why their portfolio is one to invest in.
Event Structure

Pre-start
An exclusive event to only the best 50 attendees with the aim of having a strong mix of Masters and top Bachelor students. Evenly distributing the participants with different course backgrounds into 7-8 teams, ensuring at least one Master student is on each.

Introductory Session
Introductions with the team members and representatives from the selected sponsor will take place. In this session, the sponsor will have time they can use to talk about their organisation and hold a panel discussion allowing for students to ask questions.

Pitching Sessions
There will be 2 subsequent sessions. Following the presentations, the sponsor will provide feedback and ask any relevant questions. The winner is decided through voting, resulting in a winning team from each session.
